To OLL Chess Gang,

I apologize for the last minute callout but we can still put a team in and defend our title for Coach Mitchell!

If anyone is interested in playing on a CYO Chess team for Grades 8 and under, there is a spot for one team of 4.  Please email or call me tonight if you want to play.  I must let the CYO office know by 9:00 am Tuesday (tomorrow).  

The cost is $35 per person.  The meets are after school on Wednesdays beginning October 13 and go for four weeks.  The tournament is in November on a Saturday (I'll have to get back with you on the date, but I think it was the 13th.  I don't know if OLL Chess team can help with the cost, but let me know if that is a problem and we'll see what we can do.

The only open spot is for 8th grade and under but age won't matter on the younger end.   This is a great opportunity for kids to participate in a friendly competition among the Catholic schools.  The meets are held at various Catholic schools in the Indianapolis area and usually start about 4:00.  Sometimes there is only one round, but normally two.  Each round takes about an hour at the most.  

Needn't be from OLL school, just eligible for CYO but willing.  I can help with transportation since I would be attending with Croix.

All we need now are three more!  (subs appreciated, too)..
