This open source icon is named "cockos reaper" and is licensed under the open source GPL v3 license. It's a colored icon. It's available to be downloaded in SVG and PNG formats (available in 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 PNG sizes).

It's part of the icon set "Candy Icons", which has 765 icons in it.

If you need this icon available in another format, it should be pretty straight forward to download it as an SVG image file, and then import it into apps like Adobe Illustrator, Fotor, RelayThat or Snappa. Converting it to an ICO, JPEG or WebP image format or file type should also be pretty simple (we hope to add that feature to Iconduck soon).

Hi, looking at getting a new daw, currently use ableton. Deciding between Studio One, Cubase and Reaper. Obviously as reaper is the cheapest, its the most logical solution. Does it miss out many main features compared to studio one/cubase? I mainly produce electronic music.

Edit: For anyone considering reaper: DO IT. Trying it out for a couple days, after getting it initially set up and finding a theme that you like its absolutely amazing. HYDRA theme has been my favourite so far.

The only weird thing is that the hex number value is actually +1 off the A&H table.
For example for CC=82 in reaper is actually 83 on their table. (using MIDI channel 2)
LSB is Parameter, MSB- input channel (for those who will try this at home)

Basically, if you already have Reaper installed, you need to go to reaper.fm and download a new version in the same way as you did above. Then install the new version in the same folder on your computer, and it should update with no problems.

I really like reaper but I have some serious issues with certain plugins that use OpenGL for their GUIs, namely waves stuff. I have lots invested in waves products and its really a bummer when I get working on a bigger session for a film project or something and constantly have crashes. I typically get around this by freezing tracks to free up memory for OpenGL but it really puts a hamper on the work flow.

It is annoying not to have reaper properly translated properly to other languages. Just use a translation server and let the users collaborate.
I know there are buggy, incomplete language packages, but it can be done properly and efficient, check Musescore.

the only issue i have with reaper is the lack of options for control surfaces. i would love to see one that has the functionality of the Pro Control, with a joystick that can be used to control ReaSourrond. all in all i love reaper and would recomend it to anyone looking to get into music production or sound design.

You are right, there are some really cool features in reapers parameter modulation. And by the way for me reaper is the DAW to go!!!
And with the abillity to link plugin parameters between tracks it would be simply godlike ?

Not being musical enough, either with Midi or Chord Progressions. It should be more musical in the sense of allowing you to compose and create intuitively and with ease. Some Midi features that Logic has should be available in reaper.

problem is vst patches resetting to init sound, very frustrating , tried all of the suggestions in the reaper forum , kvr, etc, problem still persists. on both machines which i have reaper installed.
