I know who did it, it was the couple who just moved out of the right side ground floor apartment just next door, the white apartment attached to the garden.Guy with a beard and a hat.
(27 olive street I believe)
I saw the guy pull it out as I left the house yesterday, I didn't realize he was going to just dump it there, but he did.

I learned that large items were dumped in front of the garden.
In response a 311 request to pick up the illegally dumped items was made.
This is just to remind gardeners that they are responsible for keeping the sidewalk free from trash and to let me know if dumping occurs in front of the garden.
Please call me, at 718-388-9190 ext 114 if there are issues at the garden.
