Hi Brooklyn CB1 Gardeners,

Hope you’re having a great start to fall! There are a number of exciting upcoming events in Williamsburg and Greenpoint this season.

This Saturday, GreenThumb will be joining the Wepa Festival this Saturday (9/23) from 1-6PM, hosted by El Puente at Havemeyer Street from South 4th Street to Grand Street. We’ll have a table for GreenThumb at the festival, along with a map of the community gardens in the area. If you’d like to join the table with other garden leaders, please let me know at 646-477-2789. This will be a great opportunity to share about your work and invite neighbors to get involved in your garden. Hope you can join the fun! More details here.

Next month, you’re invited to join the GreenThumb Meet-and-Greet for Brooklyn community gardeners on Wed. 10/25 from 6-8PM. The event will be held in the Picnic House at Prospect Park and will be a space for garden leaders to swap ideas and learn about resources from partner organizations. Registration is free, but RSVP is required. Please select up to two representatives from your garden group to attend. To register, please RSVP here.
