As you know, Olive St Garden now has a compost bin and tumbler. Last year we began a compost program that allows gardeners, local residents, and others to drop off their kitchen scraps to create compost for the garden.

This year, we need to set regular hours of operation. Therefore, I'm asking for a volunteer to to be in the garden and to oversee that particular activity. If anyone is interested please email me at lhof...@stnicksalliance.org

Thank you.

I can help with that. Also, I think Clint gave you wrong hours for our availability. We are available to be at the garden on Sundays 11am-1pm and aside we can help with the compost.
I saw some  polysterene tray in the compost the other day. I don't think everybody understand what it is for. I will try to print a sign in english, Chinese and Spanish to put on or near the bin.
let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
