Can anyone clarify what the theoretical difference is between the MED program ("decompose" function) and Oligotyping ("oligotype" function)?

My understanding is that MED performs the oligotyping automatically at the community level (meaning it repeats the entropy analysis until all nodes are resolved and automatically chooses the positions to decompose by). Just wanted to make sure I understand how the pipeline works!

Thank you!!

Your description of the difference is correct :)
