TheMambattiyan actress was introduced to Tamil films by director Lingusamy, who cast her in the blockbuster 'Run' in 2001. He had later given her a meaty role in his 'Sandakozi' in 2005 as well. Meera, known to be friends with him, has in principle-agreed to feature in the sequel to 'Sandakozhi' if the story requires her character.

But nobody is sure if the sequel to 'Sandakozhi' will have her character. This is because two scripts are currently being prepared for the sequel, one by writer S Ramakrishnan, who had written the first part, apart from the filmmaker Lingusamy, who is writing his own sequel.

Ramakrishnan informed that 'Sandakozhi 2' is the fourth movie he is writing dialogues for Vishal after 'Sandakozhi', 'Avan Ivan' and 'Samaran'. 'Sandakozhi 2' has a lot of scope for Vishal to prove his acting ability in after Avan Ivan, he said.

Muzhusa senjittu vaa." No, you don't need the translation. It isn't about what she says. It's the how. In comparison, the nameplate outside Sembaruthi's door just says "Cute Heroine." What happened to her predecessor, played by Meera Jasmine? The strains of 'Dhavani Potta Deepavali' drown out whatever tragic story Durai narrates, but the real story is that Meera Jasmine is no longer a viable heroine, while Keerthy Suresh is. The hens keep changing in Tamil cinema, but the cock stays the same.

If the film maker feels the need/compulsion to tell a story amid a song, I am fine as long as they stop the song for dialogue and then continue later. Just not when they play noise/dialogue over a song.

Just discussing about this exactly after watching vada chennai with my mate. I was good to hear the song ennadi mayavi nee in the dolby atmos, and when the song was flowing and ugh the song got suddenly cut and the movie got back to its story where it left.
