Dear OLDS MOOC participant,

A group of your peers in OLDS MOOC are presenting a paper at the 2014 MOOC summit, and would like to hear your evaluation of your experience, one year after. This survey should take you between 5 and 20 minutes to complete - depending on how much you want to share. We would greatly appreciate your input!

Thanks,

The Long View: OLDS MOOC, one year after

Dear OLDS MOOC participant,

Course evaluations are typically conducted shortly after the course is completed, while the true effects of any educational experience unfold over time. To try and challenge this conflict, we would like to ask you to answer a short survey about your evaluation of OLDS MOOC a year after completion. This survey should require between 5 and 15 minutes (depending on you).

A group of OLDS MOOC participants are presenting a paper at the http://www.emoocs2014.eu/. The paper considers the appropriate measures of success in a MOOC such as OLDS. It is based on the personal accounts of the authors. You can follow the paper development at https://twitter.com/search?q=oldsmoop, and comment on the draft at: http://goo.gl/ycRTos. As we were working on this paper, we thought it would be valuable to compare our experience and perceptions with those of other participants.

Anonymised quotes from your comments may be used to illustrate the survey findings in conference talks and research publications. However, if you would rather your comments were not used in this way please tick the box at the bottom. If you have any questions or comments regarding this survey, please contact: yis...@gmail.com
