On Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 at 6pm, Central Baltimore Partnership is hosting an important community meeting on development at and near Penn Station and we want your feedback!
1. Reconnecting Charles Street Wrap-up Presentation & Discussion
First, the "Reconnecting Charles Street" project identifying creative ways to improve the pedestrian connectivity along N. Charles Street between Mt. Royal and Lanvale streets will be wrapped-up by a presentation and discussion led by the project consultants, RK&K. This is joint effort with RK&K, Baltimore City Dept. of Transportation and community stakeholders.
2. Kick-off Discussion for Penn Station Area Master Plan
After RK&K presents and discusses their immediate and short-term improvement recommendations, CBP has invited Harbor Point Development to kick-off their community engagement process in developing longer-term redevelopment plans. Building off the significant community processes already completed through the Charles North Vision Plan, Lanvale Lot Highest and Best Use Study and Reconnecting Charles Street plans, Harbor Point will share and seek input on some initial, very conceptual ideas for redeveloping and improving the properties around Penn Station, including the Lanvale Lot.
