Hi all,
In trying to clean and diagnose my 'new' Brunsviga 20 (it seems like someone has misaligned the input register so it will not unlock), I foolishly removed this front panel on the lower sliding register. I now have the joyous task of trying to fit all of these very small fiddly springs back through the holes in the front plate I removed. I have several questions:
1) How were these originally assembled? Brunsviga were evidently able to assemble this once!
2) Are these springs strictly necessary? I'd assume they have a purpose in life, but I can't tell what it would be!
3) Has anyone else suffered a similar 'incident' and found a creative solution?
It was all going so well up to now, so I hope we can find a solution!
Best, Adam
