Casio CQ-1: Doesn't seem to work

Hello all,
I recently was handed down a Casio CQ-1 calculator. I love old electronics so I am hoping to get it working. The AA battery inside was corroded with some white crystal stuff and I managed to carefully clean it out it still won't power on. Here are some questions I have:
1.) I don't have the AC adapter. What kind of AC adapter does this need? It says AD-18 .15w - Are there modern ones made to that specification?
2.) I also see 2 little watch size batteries in there (G-13 it says). Do I need to change those to get the display to work? I've read that those are to keep the clock correct but the display itself needs a AA.
Any help is much appreciated.
