Looking for a Casio fx-115s manual.
My dear old dad bought me this fantastic solar powered model way back in 1984 and it's served me very well. Can't get my head around some of the advanced functions yet and have lost the manual. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. Studying number series, statistics and polar coordinates recently, I am a bit lost on how to make the most of this little gem!

Thankyou

Thankyou John.

The link keeps asking me to click 'RUN' but it's all greyed out on this KCC library computer, so I can't get anywhere at the moment :S

Working now. Seems to have everything I need! Reading through the manual takes me back all those years to when I first looked through it at 16 years old.

Cheers

Casio FX-115S (maybe also 570s/991s) has a very interesting feature. Disassemble it and find pins 47 and 49 on the chip (the fourth and the second pin from the right on the bottom short side). They are shorted together on the keyboard side. Remove this conductor and connect pins 49 and 46. Assemble everything back and try to select modes. When you reach BASE-N mode (it will be now numbered 3), press 1 or 2. 1 is linear system solving (yep!), 2 is quadratic equation solving.
