Hi, all:

I have got recently an Olivetti Logos 9 calculator with integrated printer.  It has the battery pack sealed  (and dead)  inside the calculator, Anybody knows how to  access to the battery pack in order to replace Ni-Cd´s and test it?. No screws are seen in the back cover.  It seems that the calculator could be split in two parts by pressing or pushing somewhere, bu it is not obvious. I ma afraid to  crack or break it

Thanks for your help

Ricardo

Logos 9 was not a normal service item. I don't remember if there were any service  books for it.
Some machines had a case screw hidden under a label. Press all parts of every label looking for a depression. If you find a possible hole, cut the label to see if there is a screw  hidden in there.  There may be more than hole.  Those screws could be holding the case together.

HI, Jay:

Thanks for your advice. It worked!!!.

Behind the back label there was two hiden screws.   I could remove them and open the calculator. Batteries are under a inner case closed with four 2 mm mini hex nuts. Now I am awaitng for a sepecial hollow screwdriver to remove these mini hex nuts. But this is another story.

Thanks a lot.
