Hello. I have a 1970? Excellent Condition Monroe 820 "CRT" Calculator in working condition. I had the badly worn power cord to it 20 years ago, and still may have the power cord in my storage unit, in boxes, from a cross country move recently. It will take me months to maybe find it, so I am looking for a replacement cord or something I can build to give power to the calculator. I was told by a museum 20 years ago that they know of no working Monroe 820 calculators, and offered to buy it, but I refused. I am interested in selling it at this time because I am 74 years old, disabled, and in debt. How much would this Very Rare calculator be worth seeing that there is a less rare Monroe calculator on Ebay right now for $2500. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You, Charlie.

There is a very interesting video of one of these machines on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDowkmjnHhw .  Although the description is in Italian the video shows the machine working and also the internals including the circuit boards.

It is impossible to say what a calculator is worth. Asking prices on eBay is no indication, you have to look at what they actually sold for. And then it differs night and day from country to country.

Supply and demand obviously plays a big part in prices as well. I have seen the same calculator sell for $50 and then $200 in the same week. Recently a Monroe 630 sold for $999 on eBay (hard to believe) and another for less than $250.

Financially for you the best thing would just be to list it on eBay for a $2000 or whatever you think it is worth, and then wait a couple of months until someone makes you a decent offer.

A grade calculator is a tool designed to help students and educators quickly compute grades based on assignments, tests, and other criteria. It typically allows for the input of individual scores, weights for each assessment, and computes the overall grade accordingly. This tool is useful for tracking academic progress, setting targets, and identifying areas needing improvement. Automated grade calculators enhance accuracy and save time compared to manual calculations.
