Dear Executive and Advisory Boards,
As a concerned current member of Moriye Vado, I feel that it is in the best interest of my fellow members to form a new vado in our area. In light of MCA-EC's new MAGIC plan, one tenet of which is to strengthen locally, I found that this was the best option to meet our needs.
As such, I would like to inform you that we're forming the Divine Mercy Vado in our area, consisting of the following several current member families of Moriye Vado, CC'd in this email, who have expressed their interest in joining and have consented to this:
Kevin and Friya D'Costa (+1)
Ivan and Anita D'Souza (+2)
Roy and Vaibhavi Macwan (+2)
Melvin and Premilla Mendonca (+2)
Christopher and Violet Monis (+2)
Wesly and Lorna Tauro (+1)
Harry and Anita Pinto (+2)
Furthermore, I have been elected Gurkar of this new vado by its members in a recent conversation, and am happy to assume this position until the upcoming election.
Thank you very much for your understanding and kind cooperation. Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year!
Thanks,
Christopher Monis

Hello Ron,
Both as the Gurkar of the newly formed Divine Mercy Vado and as a concerned member of MCA-EC, I feel it prudent to publicly respond to these recent mass messages regarding the legitimacy of our Vado and its executive board approval, on behalf of myself and my fellow Vado members.
First and foremost, the right of Vado formation is explicitly held by the MCA-EC Executive Board, specifically by the Regional Coordinator, in accordance with Article 6.1.4.4 of the MCA-EC bylaws. In light of this, there should be no question of the legitimacy of this action. Furthermore, I see no reasonable conflict between this decision and the overarching purposes and objectives listed in Article 2, and accordingly see no case to be made in regards to board misconduct.
On the other hand, what I can see in your actions, both recent and past, is overwhelming evidence of Gurkar misconduct. According to Article 5.6.4.6 of the bylaws, it is an explicit responsibility of the Gurkar to "respect the organizational hierarchy and address the needs of members in his/her jurisdiction." In no way, shape, or form have your actions paid any respect to the power of the executive board, which supersedes you in this hierarchy. Your past inability to forward executive messages in a timely manner, which conflicts with Articles 5.6.4.4, 8.6.2, and 8.6.5, as well as your public defamation of executive members and their decisions are just two examples of many in regards to this misconduct. As such, we seven families, formerly of your Moriye Vado, saw none of our needs being met by our former Gurkar and decided to take action in the formation of this Vado.
In fact, our time in Moriye Vado was not only not beneficial to us, but actually harmful. We found ourselves involved in your dramatics, even when they did not concern us. When you sign a message as the Gurkar of Moriye Vado, the impression you leave reflects on your Vado members. However, many of your criticisms of the executive board did not reflect our beliefs, and instead caused struggle within our families and friends circles. Why should we be forced to continue membership in such a Vado that is actually destructive to us?
These past e-mails of yours have gone beyond violating the MCA-EC bylaws--they've violated the Terms of Service of Google Groups, which operates the Moriye Vado mailing list. In accordance with our request to be removed from the list, we should not have received any of this communication through the Moriye Vado group. However, we continue to be enrolled in this group and present on this list, which is a strict violation of your agreement with Google.
On an even more serious note, it can be argued that you've violated the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, which enforces the presence of a way to unsubscribe from a commercial mailing list. Any messages you've sent through the Vado in the capacity of Gurkar that can be construed as commercial messages may be in violation of this act in a civil court of law.
However, when you're not acting in the capacity of a Gurkar representative of your Vado but rather as a member of MCA-EC, I understand that you do maintain the right to question the decisions of the Executive Board, as we all do. In such cases, it is your duty to, first and foremost, privately alert the Executive Board of your concern. Supposing that your needs are not met, you can escalate your appeal to the Advisory Council. Following that, you can address the MCA-EC members, who collectively stand foremost in the organizational hierarchy, of your issue. This stands in line with the hierarchy of most executive and judicial systems, including that of the United States of America. What you have done by simply sending a mass e-mail to various members of the organization, completely unrelated to the issue at hand, has not given the Executive Board any chance to possibly alleviate your concerns with justification for their actions.
In summation, I see no reason why we should not be able to remove ourselves from the Moriye Vado in favor of our Divine Mercy Vado. It is explicitly stated in the bylaws that the Executive Board holds this right, and they've exercised it in forming our Vado. If anyone's actions should be brought into question, it's yours, as evidenced by the multiple aforementioned bylaws, terms, and acts you have infringed on. With the permission of my Vado Members, I send this e-mail once again imploring you to remove us members of the Divine Mercy Vado from the Moriye Vado and its mailing list. As such, we can remain in accordance with Article 5.5.4 of the bylaws, which requires us to be members of only one Vado, as we form our new Divine Mercy Vado mailing list.
If you have any comments or questions in regards to this e-mail thread, please feel free to respond with a similar e-mail, including effectively clarified evidence for your concerns, as opposed to your recent baseless, libelous, mudslinging e-mails. For future messages, I wholeheartedly recommend you contact the Executive Board and Advisory Council directly before sending out such blanket e-mails.
Compliments of the season,
Christopher Monis
Gurkar, Divine Mercy Vado
P.S. I sincerely apologize to those members involved in this quite unnecessary public snafu, but Ron's recent remarks have compelled me to respond in such a manner.
