New Survey

Hi, everyone. I hope none of you mind me sharing something that's not related to the creation debate. I have a theory about Americans' opinions about dictators in other countries, so I'll be using a series of online surveys to see if my hunch is correct. If you think you or your children might find my first survey interesting, please take a look at it. I'm asking few demographic questions so as to not cause any privacy concerns. Very interesting, Jennifer!

I found the psychology of answering fascinating. A simple question,
"Who was worse?" became very problematic when I was trying to compare
your Hirohito versus, say, Adolph Hitler.I kept wondering: How much of
my opinion is based on familiarity? How much of the "wickedness" is a
result of the particular leader's opportunity to do evil (versus
internal wickedness)? And so forth.

Would you share your results with us?

Also, may I "advertise" this survey?

Thanks, and please do share it with others. I'm planning on collecting responses at least until the end of the year.

You've brought up some of the questions that made me put this together in the first place. Yes, a lot's constrained by familiarity, but that's why I have the matrix asking about that. When I have some time, I'll write up more about my thoughts on this, and I'll be sure to share them with all of you.
