It would appear that we agreed to present the summary comparison of
the two reports at our meeting next week. And after having agreed on
this, as requested, this summary has already been received via an
email attachment sent out by RI to OLC members to examine prior to the
meeting.

And what else, if anything, will we have to report?

The ongoing philosophical discussion has been helpful. Has it allowed
us to come to any consensus on our partial response to Part 2 of BCC's
request? I interpret Part 2 as a request for the recommendations of
specific tools which may be used, not presently in place, which might
be considered. Do you agree?
If we are in agreement here, perhaps we could focus on this and even
consider one or more tools recommended by one or both reports. What
do you think?

I think we could use our time at the meeting to summarize our
discussion on considering the scope of ag lands and get an official
yay or nay from the group on whether we want to support a general
recommendation to conserve ag lands in Missoula Co and how that
recommendation might be worded. From there we can move to developing
recommendations in response to Part 2. How does that sound?

agreed...

I am also wondering if there is any benefit in asking the rest of the
committee for their thoughts on the question we have struggled with:
"how much is enough?" as it could impact our Part 2 discussion on
appropriate tools???

I think some input from the entire committee is a good idea.

Hi all...

It turns out I won't be able to attend tomorrow night's meeting. I'm
triple-booked and my wife is double-booked and niether the two shall
meet. Hence we will be splitting parenting duties which will make it
impossible for me to attend.

Sorry about that! The game plan for the meeting sounds good. I look
forward to catching up on what happens and following up on this
discussion forum.

Enjoy and keep me posted.
