My Dear Friends,

I just received the January 21, 2012 issue of the Tablet. Sister Helen Horton, SC, (Sr. Mary Ligouri) died on 8 January 2012. She was our third grade teacher in 1963-1964. Before discovering her call to consecrated life, she had been a night club singer for five years. I do remeber she had a beautiful voice when she sang for us kids in third grade. I'm really sad to hear of Sister Liguori's passing. She was the sweetest ever and I will definitely miss her! Thanks for sharing the news, Maritina.
