heard that a meeting was held earlier in the month about the movement of sister of charity and the new order to come in. also heard that plans for a reception - please advise if anyone knows anything i would like to be invited. also jeannine lizzul now dunn would like to be included in the olareunion@gogglegroup - tom ok

The pastor, Fr. John Mendonca made an announcement a week or two ago that the President of the Sisters of Charity wanted the remaining sisters at OLA to relocate to Convent of Mary the Queen (35 Vark Street. Yonkers, NY 10701-4699) which I believe is a home for the retired sisters. Sister Jo Ann is currently residing there. He asked the President to send him more Sisters of Charity to OLA, but according to him she said it was not possible.

A new nun was hired by the Pastor, but she is from another religious community. As soon as I find out her name, I will let you all know.
