Hi all:

I work from home (and various coffee shops) but am looking to work with other people doing the same type work i do (ruby, rails, chef, linux). Anyone aware of any co-working facilities in okc, norman or anywhere in between? I believe the okc collab coop closed? thanks for any help

Rayn & All,

We are setting up a co-working facility in Edmond in the near future.

See the attached to get an example of the area our folks will be working in.

Any other interest?

Verbus

The okcCoCo reopened under the name "The 404" http://visitthe404.com/

Another one in OKC is called Commonwealth http://thecommonwealth.co/

I'm not very knowledgeable on places in Norman or Edmond.

I am a member of both, but primarily use the Commonwealth right now.  You can come for a day for free any time I believe, to try it out.  It's on 6th and Broadway.

Thanks for the invite. I would like to try that sometime after next week (going on vacation w00t).

I thought that Norman would be a no-brainer since we have OU here and all. The local IHOP is the place to be for all-nighters due to students studying during the university semesters. Hastings bookstore on Main and Grey Owl Coffee are big spots as well but i wouldn't call them co-working facilities lol

The Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (CCEW), located on the south campus of the University of Oklahoma, is in the process of launching a co-working space called the Land Run. I don't believe they have information about it on the website yet, but you can learn more about the CCEW and give them a call here:

Thanks Phillip - i called and spoke to them. Sounds like a great setup. I believe they said they are planning on opening in September.
