Grey II. The talk looked really good (I hope I get to go) but the
best part was in the author's description:

There's actually a pretty funny story about me being at that conference.
MWRC was started two years ago and one of the organizers is Pat Eyler,
a good friend of mine. So the first year, Pat asked me to come out.
Unfortunately, it was days away from a family vacation I had planned
and I declined. Then last year, Pat asked me again. This time we had
a foreign exchange student we were taking on spring break, so I
declined again.
In my defense, why does this conference always fall on spring break?
Who planned that! :D
In the end, Pat gave up on me. This year I didn't get an invite. It
didn't seem like it would matter because Dana and I have another
foreign exchange student this year and we are were looking for another
place to take them for spring break.
Well, it just so happens that MWRC was looking for speakers to invite
and another buddy of mine, Greg Brown, was on the selection comity
this year. So he asked me if I would come out.
Again the conference is right at the beginning of spring break, but we
hadn't picked a destination yet and even more serendipitously one of
the things our student had mentioned wanting to see was Roswell, NM.
(This was just days before Greg asked me, in fact.) So I sat down
with a map and did a little planning.
The end result: I will speak at MWRC this year and my family is
taking a driving tour from Salt Lake City to Arches to Four Corners to
Mesa Verde to Albuquerque to Roswell for spring break. ;)

it means you're coming out, I'm glad it worked out this way.
