I'm taking over the okcDroid user group from Chad Gorshing .

Our next meeting is Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the OkcCoCo.

I would love for someone to volunteer to do a 30 minute talk. If no one steps forward, I'll talk about my grocery list app -github.com/brianssheldon/BubbasGroceryListApp I'm planning on giving a talk on what I learned writing the app at the Okc Java Users Group March 13th (okcjug.org).

I'm looking for people willing to give talks. I'm hoping the talks will run 30 to 45 minutes so we can have time to talk and discuss whatever programming topics interest you. I would like to have some type of lightning talks - each would be around 5-10 minutes each and you decide when to go to the next slide (if you even use slides).

Since I'm new to Android development, I want to be a more of facilitator than a contributor. I will need your help to make this group successful.

sounds good to me. I don't really know what you are talking about but at this point, I'll take whatever I can get.

I'm thinking we probably have a wide range of developers - newbie's to ninja's. My talk will probably be for newbie's. But we'll have to wait and see who shows up.
