Rubyists:
Don't forget, we have a meeting scheduled this Thursday. We will meet at 6:30 PM in the Edmond Public Library.
I want to try something new for this months meeting. This month, we will all work together to solve a simple programming challenge during the meeting. This will be similar the the Dojo meetings held at the CoCo. We will choose someone to type for us, but all planning, discussion, and decision making will be made as a group.
My hope is that we can all learn from the differences in how we tackle problems. I also hope that some people less familiar with Ruby will benefit from seeing their ideas transformed into Ruby syntax by the group. Please join us for this experiment. All experience levels are welcome.
If you have a problem you would like to recommend for the group, send it in and we will consider it. Just remember to keep the problem pretty small, so we can complete it or at least make a lot of progress on it during the meeting. If no one makes a recommendation, I'll choose one of my favorite Ruby Quiz problems.
See you Thursday!
