I was able to generate custom LT rules (see
ConceptEntry2TermCheckRules.java and Blacklist2BlacklistRules.java) from
term or black term lists (see attached unit tests). The term check rules
run like any other LT rule and can be done in combination with the
normal spelling or grammar checks.

It would be nice to have this hooked up to CheckMate at some point.
Having LanguageToolStep in rainbow would also be useful. Of course the
downside is it would require the LT dependencies when we deploy.

I'll be doing more testing and tweaks to the messages and suggestions,
but the core logic seems to be working including stemming etc..

It is available to be used with Rainbow as one of the plugins.
The size of the dependency was the reason why we made it a plugin.

See deployment\maven\build_okapi-plugins.xml for the build.

Ah, good to know. At least rainbow users will be able to use the new
enhancements. I tried to load the plugin and it worked, but I don't see
my UI changes to add term and blacklist checking. I'll play with it some
more if I have time.

I got the languagetool-step UI working in the ui-harness test app, but still doesn't display right as a plugin in rainbow.

Never mind, the plugin version  was still set to 0.29, I've updated to 0.30.

Should work now,

Jim
