VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services
company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia,
Singapore & India.
VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Tivoli TIM/TAM Administrator for
our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and
conditions:
Skillset required:
• 4+ years experience with TIM/TAM based authentication/authorization
solution
• Intermediate skills in one or more languages – Java, JavaScript, XML
etc.
• Familiarity with standard Unix/Linux command line tools.
• Experience in administering and supporting IBM Tivoli Access Manger
on UNIX
• Experience in administering and supporting IBM Tivoli Access
Identity on UNIX
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the entire TIM/TAM related activities
• Engineering and design of the LDAP environment to ensure that they
align with industry best practices
• Work with TIM and TAM to support the user administration community
• Back up, restore LDAP schema and data
• Modify / extend LDAP schema
• Create / modify / extend LDAP Objects
• Create / modify ACIs
• Performance tuning of LDAP and knowledge of LDAP tuning parameters
• Perform monitoring, failovers and replication
• Extract/ import data from / into LDAP
• Create / modify scripts to push /pull data from LDAP/External Data
Sources
• Perform SSL certificate configuration to control connection to LDAP
• Provide technical leadership and hands on management of the TIM/TAM
Solution in terms, of user creation, user profile management and other
day to day administrative activities
• Responsibilities for monitoring, backup and recovery, security,
performance management, and log review of TIM/TAM Solution
• Acts as a key technical advisor to project teams providing novel
approaches and technical insights
• Participates in the engineering and design of relevant enterprise
security projects and participates in the decision making as it
relates to technology implementation, as it relates to LDAP and TIM/
TAM environments

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT
