HR and HR-overlap

Hi there,

I would like to know how to quantify HR and HR-overlap for some 40 individuals using HRE - MCP 95%.

A bit of background. Data of all individuals is in single shapefile (created in ArcMap). Individuals' ID is a color code, a unique combination of colors (string variable, no numbers). The program wont let me use the color code to create an HR polygon for each subject. I tried to edit the attribute (Color code) using the Auto Assign Attribute, but it assigns the same number to all observations or continuous numbers and creates a single HR polygon.

I want to create a single polygon of each individual to then quantify overlap.

Any suggestions?
