1.8.0.91 Linux download:
- ZIP bundle:
https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild/releases/download/1.8.0.91-3/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.91-1.b14.el6.x86_64.zip
- sha256sum:
https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild/releases/download/1.8.0.91-3/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.91-1.b14.el6.x86_64.zip.sha256
This bundle is created from CentOS 6 java-1.8.0-openjdk package binaries.
See motivation behind the bundle in this issue:
https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild/issues/1
See details on bundle wrapping in this wiki page:
https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild/wiki/CentOS6ZipBundle
This bundle passes smoke tests (including AWT) on Ubuntu 14.04.
SunEC security provider is disabled - its shared library renamed to
jre/lib/amd64/libsunec.so_DISABLED . Strip the "_DISABLED" postfix to
enable it back. See details on possible EC crypto issues (that may
happen outside of CentOS):
http://icedtea.classpath.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2934
. The
following snippet may be used to check SunEC provider:
