    • Recent swarm caught at Meiners Oaks School
    • Your experiences with swarms
    • How a colony of bees caught in a swarm is different than package (etc) bees
  • How to monitor your bees over summer
    • What to look for
      • How to know if they are getting enough nectar 
        • Nectar flow in Ojai --spring into summer
        • If, when and how much to feed bees
      • Problems with you hives
        • Is anyone observing signs of trouble with your hives?
        • if so, what?
        • Do you need a beekeeper to check your hive?
          • Availability of mentor Beekeepers
The meeting will be from 6-7:30
