Wright State University’s Office of Marketing seeks applicants for a Web
Programmer 2. Successful candidate will work with the university web team in an
agile environment to program and manage the back-end development of the
university-wide content management system. Development will vary widely from
custom development of data integration to enabling common functionality though
existing open-source features and modules.
This position reports to the
Senior Web Administrator and the Executive Director of Marketing. A bachelor’s
degree in computer science or equivalent is required as well as a minimum 3
years work experience in web-based application development. The candidate must
be able to demonstrate proficiency in a LAMP stack environment using PHP or
similar. Previous Drupal experience is a benefit, but not necessary. Samples of
web development work and description of project roles must be submitted.
Wright State offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes
