I don't know where this picture came from, but there's nothing about that
wellhead and Christmas tree that makes it either a gas well or an oil well.

It's a wellhead on a gas storage facility north of Houston. They have a this old reservoir trap they quit producing in the 1930s and now pump gas down into it. It's sth like 2 miles down, and the sandstone is friable in your fingers, like a soft whetstone.
I don't have that many pics that are mine to use...

Anyway, the Mexican caballero may have gotten as busy now as I was when he wrote. I've decided to use the Google group as a sort of screening area for folks with no samples or credentials online. If they can convince most everyone else they're legit, cool. My overhead is practically nil aside from the 150 pounds initial investment, at least until I fire up an adwords campaign.

I am really getting intense abt the Panic of 1893... nearly finished Sherman's memoirs. Oddly enuf, he has nothing to say abt the Antitrust Law, and I'm running out of book.
