OHRG Rules and Ruckus - Jan 19 - 12P to 3:30P

OHRG is Hosting a Rules and Scrimmage Colloquium

on Saturday, January 19, from 12 pm - 3:30 pm.

WFTDA Level 5 Referee and 2010 WFTDA Clinics Instructor, Tootie Tinwhistle, will be on hand to lead a rules discussion highlighting the biggest changes in the new 2013 ‘no-minors’ rule set. OHRG’s awesome officiating staff will also be on hand to lend their expertise, including WFTDA Level 4 Referee and 2012 WFTDA Clinic Instructor Great Scott along with WFTDA Level 2 NSO and 2012 Champs THNSO Deadeye Knight.  We are inviting all WFTDA skaters and officials (skating and non-skating) to join in the 3.5 hour derby bonanza. The day will feature rules discussions, scrimmages, and some on-skates rules scenarios. We’ll end the day with pizza and beverages.

Admission is paid the day of the event.  It's $5 for skaters and FREE for all officials.  This IS NOT a WFTDA sanctioned clinic, but merely a means for regional/ area skaters and officials to meet, discuss and learn about the major changes in the new ruleset.  Given that many clarifications can still be forthcoming, this is not the end all 'voice' for how rules should be interpreted and/or enforced.  We will be discussing what has solidified up to that date.
