Good evening,

As we get closer to summer camp, many troops are working to help younger Scouts advance and be prepared. Advancement Academy on April 11 (8am to 2pm) at Seven Ranges is designed to support that effort by giving Scouts the opportunity to complete key requirements in a focused, hands-on setting.

Hosted by Sipp-O Lodge, the Advancement Academy is built for 1st–3rd year Scouts who need to complete early rank requirements that can be difficult to cover during regular troop meetings. Scouts will choose a rank-based track – Tenderfoot, Second Class, or First Class – and work through essential skills like first aid, outdoor skills, and navigation. All participants will also complete the 5-mile hike.

The program takes place during the OA Spring Fellowship, with OA members actively supporting instruction and mentoring Scouts throughout the day to ensure a high-quality experience.

Space is limited and spots are filling quickly. The cost is $15 per Scout, which includes lunch. We encourage you to register to take advantage of this opportunity.
