Starting from their Lake Ave Trailhead location, head out on the Sippo or Towpath trails to enjoy the evening and see these familiar paths in a whole new light (or lack thereof). This is a free, 14- to 18-mile beginner-friendly ride over flat terrain, with a bicycle shop team member at the front and rear of the group. Helmet and headlight/taillight required. Relatively flat roads and some rolling hills to the southeast of Columbus with distance options of 35/62/100 miles. Routes are relatively flat with some rolling hills through the counties southeast of Columbus. Saturday – Saturday, 5/10 – 5/7. 5th OETA: OHIO ERIE TRAIL ADVENTURE – SPRING. Cincinnati to Cleveland. Travels the stunning 326-mile trail that links the Ohio River in Cincinnati to Lake Erie in Cleveland, over mostly rail-trail and canal paths, through four big cities, numerous small towns, and plenty of rural areas. Covers 45 to 70 miles per day. The journey starts with a dipping of back tires in the Ohio River under Cincinnati’s historic Roebling Suspension Bridge in Smale Park.
