Sunday, 5/25. 11th FALLSQUEST MAP RACE. Cuyahoga Falls. A different kind of race that involves thinking as well as endurance. Search for 68 locations marked on a map of Cuyahoga Falls. Only a few streets are labeled, so stay aware of where you are! Answer a simple question at each checkpoint (e.g., house number of a home with a bigfoot statue in the front yard). Participants generally cover 6 to 24 miles! Mostly flat with a few good hills. Participants are allowed three hours if on a bike and four hours if they are running. Singles or teams. Helmet required. Sunday, 5/25. 51st MOC: MID-OHIO CENTURY. Delaware. Covering 35/65/100 flat miles, there isn’t much elevation change in this area of Ohio, so expect easy-riding terrain, and many lush mid-summer crops in all directions. Depending on the distance selected, pass through towns such as Prospect, Marion, and Waldo with numerous food options. Riders are responsible for their food and water, all maps will have guidance on other nourishment options. A ride leader will be present at the start and will be sweeping the routes. The hilly, distance ride travels through Bethany, and West Liberty, West Virginia with sag support.
