Sunday, 7/5. 44^th TOOH: TOP OF OHIO. Milford Center. The fourth of the Outdoor Pursuits Cycling Series. One of the most popular of the series, this is a great early-season test to ride to the highest point in Ohio! Mostly rolling terrain, with routes of 35 to 100 miles, there are some hills on the longer routes. Marked roads with maps and limited support. Saturday, 7/11. COLUMBUS ROULEUR 100K. Columbus. Mostly flat, some rolling hills on this 66.7-mile journey. See three creeks, two rivers and some bike paths as you ride from Columbus. Saturday, 7/11. MAJOR TAYLOR CYCLING CLUB OF DAYTON SIGNATURE RIDE. Dayton. Rides for the family and the avid cyclist in the hometown of legendary Major Taylor. Adult rides cover 17, 40 and 62 miles and family rides follow a 5- to 10-mile route. Registration starts at 6 AM. Adult ride mass departure is at 6:30 AM. Family rides begin at 9:45 AM. Saturday, 7/11. 15^th DUNCAN'S RUN BICYCLE PATCH RIDE. Harlem Township. Pedal back in time along the rural roads and rippling waterways in quiet corners of Delaware, Licking, and Knox Counties. Choose from among routes of 30/60/100 flat to hilly miles, with a few steep climbs on the longest route. This event is a full service tour with frequent rest stops, also including a hearty lunch, and a unique souvenir patch, this year honoring the America 250 celebration. Saturday, 7/11. GREENE COUNTY BIKE TOUR FOR VETERAN SUICIDE PREVENTION. Xenia. This one-day ride will showcase the extensive trail system in Greene County with all proceeds benefiting the Greene County Suicide Prevention Veteran Subcommittee. Flat to rolling routes of 10/30/60 miles will be supported with rest stops and refreshments. The Greene Country Trail Sentinel volunteers will be out on the trails throughout the ride to assist the participants. The ride will travel the Creekside Trail, Little Miami Scenic Trail, Xenia-Jamestown Connector, and the Ohio to Erie Trail. Sunday, 7/12. PENINSULA-MANTUA LOOP 125K. Peninsula. A scenic 79.2-mile loop that has one major hill at the start, and then a rolling tour of several bike trails along the loop. Sunday, 7/12. 52^nd ABC: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY RIDE. Barberton. Showcasing the rolling hills and quaint villages of Summit, Medina, and Wayne Counties, the routes of 25/50/62/100 miles provide scenic and challenging routes for families, as well as experienced cyclists. Full rest stops and SAG support on all routes. The 100-mile route also includes a light lunch in Wooster. Following the ride, all riders are encouraged to hang out at The Winery at Wolf Creek. Visit the banquet room, tasting room, or the beautiful shaded outdoor areas to take in the scenery, sample some beer and wines, and of course, enjoy the included catered lunch supplied by Old Carolina Barbecue Company.
