Saturday, 7/11. GREENE COUNTY BIKE TOUR FOR VETERAN SUICIDE PREVENTION. Xenia. This one-day ride will showcase the extensive trail system in Greene County with all proceeds benefiting the Greene County Suicide Prevention Veteran Subcommittee. Flat to rolling routes of 10/30/60 miles will be supported with rest stops and refreshments. The Greene Country Trail Sentinel volunteers will be out on the trails throughout the ride to assist the participants. The ride will travel the Creekside Trail, Little Miami Scenic Trail, Xenia-Jamestown Connector, and the Ohio to Erie Trail. Sunday, 7/12. 52nd ABC: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY RIDE. Barberton. Showcasing the rolling hills and quaint villages of Summit, Medina, and Wayne Counties, the routes of 25/50/62/100 miles provide scenic and challenging routes for families, as well as experienced cyclists. Full rest stops and SAG support on all routes. The 100-mile route also includes a light lunch in Wooster. Following the ride, all riders are encouraged to hang out at The Winery at Wolf Creek. Visit the banquet room, tasting room, or the beautiful shaded outdoor areas to take in the scenery, sample some beer and wines, and of course, enjoy the included catered lunch supplied by Old Carolina Barbecue Company.
