Saturday, 5/16. BELLEFONTAINE 400K. Bellefontaine. A flat 400K (250.4 miles) out of Bellefontaine! Probably the easiest double and a half century hosted in years (wind pending). Ohio Rando rides are rain or shine! Membership in RUSA (rusa.org) is required. Entry Deadline: May 14. Lighting and reflective gear are required and will be checked before the ride start! Saturday, 5/16. GREENE COUNTY MORNING MILERS. Xenia. A morning ride along the county’s bike trails, meeting at 8:30 AM, starting at 9:00, finish around 11:00. These rides are not for the beginner skill level. They will include a mix of paved trails and road loops covering an average of 25-35 miles at 14-16 MPH over terrain ranging from flat to hilly. Saturday, 5/16. 4th BRAKE THE CYCLE OF HOMELESSNESS TOUR. Findlay. This event raises critical support for the Mission’s programs and support offerings. Things start off bright and early with registration, plus coffee and snacks to get everyone energized, followed by a mass start. Flat to rolling routes of 9/19/37/62 miles are offered. Along the way, riders will find rest stops stocked with snacks, drinks, and smiling volunteers cheering. At the finish, stick around for a delicious cookout with burgers, hot dogs, and plenty of goodies to refuel and celebrate the ride. This pioneering Ohio tour has been adapting to the times and will again be in a “festival format.” There will be two days of cycling loops, with multiple distance and difficulty options (25 to 200 miles) to meet any cyclist’s spring training needs. TOSRV’s spirit will be honored by utilizing the most popular segments of past events, and planners will now explore the best cycling-friendly roads and trails that surround Chillicothe. Enjoy the beautiful quiet scenic roads of western Montgomery, southern Darke and Eastern Preble Counties. Choose from distances of approximately 32/50/70/100 flat to rolling miles. Sunday, 5/17. 4th BIKE BELMONT. Youngstown. A community-driven event held along the Belmont Avenue corridor in Youngstown, Ohio, on city routes of 5/12/32 flat to rolling miles. Organized through the broader neighborhood revitalization efforts of local leaders and community partners, the event blends recreation, economic development, and neighborhood pride into one visible, high-energy day.
