Saturday, 8/9. COLUMBUS ROULEUR 100K. Columbus. Mostly flat, some rolling hills, 66.7 miles. See three creeks, two rivers and some bike paths as you ride from Columbus. Saturday, 8/9. GREENE COUNTY MORNING MILERS. Xenia or Beavercreek. Join the Greene County Trail Sentinels for a free morning ride along the county’s bike trails! All rides leave from either the Xenia Station bike hub or from Beavercreek Community Park. Rides start at 9 a.m. and finish around 11 a.m. These rides are not for the beginner skill level and may include a short, off-trail portion with an average of 25-35 flat miles at 15-17 mph. Saturday, 8/9. MARR: MAUMEE AREA RIVER RIDE. Waterville. An entirely new MARR experience is coming this year. Rolling into something special, craft beer, food trucks, and good vibes await riders at the finish line, thanks to partnership with Buffalo Rock Brewery! Ride options include Gravel (42 and 20 miles), and Road (64 and 30.5 miles), flat to rolling terrain. No entry fee! Donations will be asked to help the club cover annual rider insurance and other expenses related to safe group riding in the community. This bike-a-thon returns in 2025, offering one- or two-day ride options with flat to hilly 35/75/100-mile routes—all fully supported with fun rest stops along the way. Day one wraps up at a resort with a celebratory evening featuring live music, available beer, and a refreshing dip in the pool. Stay overnight to explore Sandusky and Huron, with prizes, fun and a Margaritaville-inspired theme. Sunday, 8/10. CLEVELAND CLINIC AKRON GENERAL TOWPATH 50. Akron. Spin a day along the Ohio & Erie Canalway! Cycle 25 or 50 flat miles along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail with friends and family! Routes will take riders from Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron south to Crystal Springs Trailhead in Canal Fulton. Turn around and head back to The Richard Howe House in downtown Akron for a picnic lunch!
