The Presenters
The keynote lecture is “Sheridan’s Ride at Cedar Creek,” a Union victory that ended the Confederate threat to Washington, D.C.
The Sherman House Museum in Lancaster, Ohio, is the birthplace of
General William Tecumseh Sherman, his younger brother U.S. Senator John
Sherman and home of the remarkable Sherman family.

9:45 to 11 a.m.: Welcome and Panel on Ohio and the Civil War, featuring Ohio University history faculty:
