Army Diploma

I recently came across this document in my Dad's belongings. Has anyone else seen one, preferably complete? It's been cropped on both sides, so it would be great to come across a complete one where I could do some digital copy/paste to make this one complete. Thanks!

I have never seen anything like this but I know there are collectors out there more knowledgeable than I.   I do know the 71^st OVI however as I wrote their Regimental history.  

 

They were at the Elk River Bridge in the spring/summer of 1864.

 

The OR shows that Israel Clingham has just enlisted in Company C. of the 71^st on March 8,1864 (the very day on the Diploma.)

 

Joshua L. Babb was promoted to Captain on Company C. on April 2, 1864

 

Eliah A. Widener was promoted to 1^st Lt. of Company C. on April 2, 1864 (killed at Nashville later that year)

 

If I had to guess, I would say that this was a gift or remembrance that was presented to Israel by a family member or a GAR group long after the war.   But, that is only a guess.
