Greg--Boucher's entries in the Ohio Roster (VII, pages 430 and 750) do not specify wounds or disease. You are correct on Fold3 not yet having the Ohio CMSR cards online, and I just checked FamilySearch, which does not yet have them either.
I checked the Medical & Surgical History, but no reference to him.
Is your colleague aware that Jacob's mother, Mary Boucher, filed a pension application on 28 April 1883 as a dependent, application #303663; no certificate number is listed in either the organizational index on Fold3 or alphabetical index on Ancestry, so assume she did not receive a pension. There should still be a file, however, which would be a next step if she does not already have the file.
Tony Valentine's website at
http://100thovi.com/ has descendants listed for some 100th OVI members, who might be potential contacts for further information.
Larry Stevens' website lists some
National Tribune articles that might be worth pursuing, at
http://www.ohiocivilwar.com/cw100.html ; the Library of Congress has many of the issues in their "Chronicling America" collection.
