I have a diary that belonged to my 2x great grandfather, Daniel R Mounts, who served in company K, 68th OVI from 1861-1864. I am in the process of having it printed as part of a book I have written with details, comments, notations of the things he wrote about the last year of his service. I'd be happy to hear from other members who have relatives from that  regiment.

Henry Oldfield, father of Barney Oldfield aka Berna Eli Oldfield is
listed as being in the 68th OVI.

The picture lists who was in the car in this photo. I can find more
info about him if you need it. I may? be related to him through his
mother, Sarah Yarnell. Barney was born in Wauseon, Fulton, Ohio and
has a cenotaph in Wauseon Union Cemetery.

My G-Grandfather was in the 195th, Co. D.
