Chehalem Saturday?

Curious what folks are thinking about tomorrow. Pretty quiet on this list so far, but winds look favorable and showers are supposed to ease. Any thoughts on the forecast from those more familiar with this site than I am?

I think it will probably be good.  I'm also considering PB and Oceanside.The bail out LZ is closed,  my wife Gail only flies bags, and there's no way she makes it to Johnsons in her PG.  They're only calling for a tenth of an inch of rain.  I use the Salem forecast, then add 5 miles to it. Should just be getting into soarable territory.  John Saltveit

Peterson's Butte looks a little better than Chehalem right now.  I am going to wait to check the 9:40 forecasts.

I think there will be a good window at Chehalem today, but my wife can't fly there and I think I'm sticking closer to home.  The direction is a bit off at the other sites, as far as I can see. I am sad that the weather and the gas prices have put a damper on this spring's hang gliding season. There still is some spring left, and I hope it will dry up.  I am really stoked to fly Bald Butte near Parkdale this summer.  I will also be flying Dog, Pine, and hopefully Prairie soon.  I hope that someone gets a good flight today.
