3 hangs (Scott, Greg, myself) and about a half dozen PGs flew Oceanside today. It was sunny, warm , soarable from 11 am to when l left at 5 pm. The winds were weaker than forecast predicted (approx 8 to 13 mph/ no white caps) and direction was more SSW and SW. Huge beach for landing too. Not an epic conditions but easy to stay up and I flew for 3 hours from 12 to 3 pm with max altitude 1,100 ft above launch. Back bowl thermals were inconsistent with a lot of trashy air today. Everyone did soar as long as they wish.
