Alanna, trainer from Silent Witness and active person in a number of community response networks will be with us to discuss peaceful protest tactics in light of Occupy HBG's diversity/love rally on 2/27/12.
Being that it is a response to the white supremacist group's rally at the Steps, this is a great time to share knowledge on descalation tactics and a sharing of community resources. We will meet post-GA this sunday 2/19/12 4-6pm for discussion.
Alanna and Blaise from SW are very active with a number of groups who will gladly appear in opposition to messages of hate in our neighborhood. This is a great chance to display our unity and solidify our networks.
