Hi ALL,

Our group's been quiet lately. I believe Mark's on the mainland getting more educated on Non-Directional strategies. Don't know what happened to AC.

This week of trading has been interesting to say the least. The market has been somewhat predictable and still largely bullish but I can shoot myself for jumping the gun on some of my trades (usually selling too soon or not putting a tight stop on a stock that has moved up tremendously to protect my gain). Just shows how important it is to have a trading plan and stick to it.

For those of you who do not want to invest more $$$ in your trading education, here is some info to obtain free option education. Now you have NO excuses! I just paid over $5K to get some advanced technical and advanced option training and this site is 100% free. They've added some new courses that sound pretty good and many of their courses are on podcasts, which is great if you can play MP3's in your car or home.

Have a great weekend!
Arnold

OIC Select Users:

On May 1, 2009, OIC will introduce a new eLearning system called OIC Education that will replace your OIC Select account.

You may view the BETA version of OIC Education now by going to:
http://beta.optioneducation.net/dev/

After a quick, free registration OIC Education allows you to create a customized learning path through our online classes that is tailored to your specific learning goals. Additionally you can access other interactive materials (such as webcasts and podcasts) as supplemental electives. You can also interact directly via chat, email, or phone with our experienced options professionals in the OIC help desk. If you need any assistance or have questions about the new site, please contact opt...@theocc.com or call (1-888-OPTIONS).

This new system adds tremendous value to our free educational offerings and we're very excited to share it with you!

Thank you,
The Options Industry Council

To help you with the transition to OIC Education here are answers to some questions we believe you might have.

What happens to my OIC Select Account?

Your OIC Select account will no longer be active and we ask that you please register for OIC Education. You can actually do this right now at our Beta web site:
http://beta.optioneducation.net/dev/

What happens to my Virtual Trading Account (VTS)?

Once you sign up with your current email address for OIC Education, you will find that your active VTS account is waiting for you inside OIC Education. You can continue trading right where you left off!

How do I access podcasts and webcasts?

Webcasts are available inside OIC Education either as supplemental material to your customized learning path, or on an à la carte basis as they are today. Podcasts are available in the exact same fashion, and your subscriptions to any of our podcast feeds will continue to work as normal.

Register now: http://beta.optioneducation.net/dev/

Hi Arnold,

Sorry I hav'nt been on in awhile, work has been real busy and have not had the time to do much. Looks like it starting to slow down some, I hope to have my wife do this instead, since she does not work. But she scared about it.. I see the web site about the training.. Is this training free? Or do you have to pay?

Would like to sign up, but not sure? I hope tradeing is going well for you. Need to get my butt in gear.. about this stuff..

Thanks ken
