CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Colerain Township man pleaded guilty in federal
court to sex trafficking a teenage girl. A 20-year sentence has been
recommended for Payton Brown.
Brown met the girl online. In 2022, she moved in with him. He trafficked
her from June until October 2022, creating ads and driving her to
motels, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Kenneth Parker.
Brown arranged at least 40 prostitution meetings and took the money from
the victim.
In October, police removed the girl from Brown's home and took her to a
juvenile facility in another state.
She escaped. Brown picked up her and a friend and drove them across
state lines back to Colerain Township.
Again, he began creating ads to prostitute her until his arrest in
February 2023.
He also recorded himself having sex with the girl and sold pictures and
video online.
As part of his plea, Brown must sell his Niagara Street home and give
the proceeds to his victim.
