Occupy Houston presents the second in a series of community organizing teach-ins:

Field Organizing
presenter: Sarah Slamen
Learn about what community organizing is, the various methods of outreach and start organizing your neighborhood soon! Sarah Slamen graduated with a degree in political science from UH in 2008 and has been organizing for political parties and issue campaigns since 2006.
Note that although the bar is open, the Stag's Head kitchen is closed for New Years' Day.
Please pass this on at will. Space is limited, but the last minute nature of this event will probably not make that an issue.
