Internet security refers to the practice of protecting computer networks, devices, programs and data against unauthorized access, theft, damage or any other attacks that can compromise their integrity, confidentiality or availability. This also includes protecting users' privacy and blocking malware, viruses, spyware, phishing, and other cyber threats. Internet security measures are important not only to keep your devices and data safe, but also to maintain the security of your wider network and help prevent the spread of any malicious content. Adopting safe online habits and keeping relevant software updated are also essential components of internet security.
I turned off my Kaspersky Internet Security and my Windows Firewall, then downloaded and installed CCS 6.1.3.00033. When I turned my internet security and Firewall back on I received this message: "Detected PDM: Trojan Win32 Generic. Location: f:\ti\ccsv6\eclipse\ccstudio.exe. Disinfect and restart computer." Also got a window whose Title Bar said "Rundll: rundll32.exe bad image" and the body of the window said: "C:Windows\system32\MSCTF.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
OK, Here's what happens, at least with Kaspersky anti-virus: After installation, the first time you run CCS, additional components are downloaded from the internet. Kaspersky anti-virus must be turned off the first time you use CCS because the ant-virus recognizes these downloaded components and then finds ccstudio.exe and deletes it because it thinks it's a Trojan. The operator has no choice in the matter, ccstudio.exe gets deleted.
The core problem though is most likely to be a Windows update. Many times I found them to cause security programs including Kas not to work anymore after update. Having an additional security program like the ones for document encryption only increases the incompatibility of windows updates with everything else security related.
After a few initial hiccups I got WiFi synch working when it first became available and it has been working well between a Windows computer and both an iPhone and iPad. I have always used Kaspersky internet protection and left it at default settings.
Enter a suitable name for the rule, such as "Freewire TV", and click OK. The default permissions should be correct. Now click OK on any Kaspersky configuration windows.
Detail: I feel that Eset should offer a linux based sysrescue as well as the windows one. some malware does not allow windows discs to boot properly and this would solve the issue. Linux based rescue discs can offer wireless updating as well as Ethernet which would be good for laptops.
Hello:
I really like ESET's products and look forward to you adding more features and protection mechanisms, the following are my personal recommendations:
In HIPS add command line testing, strengthen and improve the detailed HIPS protection mechanisms.
Strengthen and improve the ESET Personal firewall module protection, to enhance the firewall level.
Add the endpoint protection application control, the server system to increase the perfect behavior detection and firewall module HIPS.
Strengthen or improve the heuristic scanning engine, enhanced remediation technologies, increasing advanced virus removal technology.
Increase the complete cloud detection technology.
ESET increase in the operations center in the windows firewall icon.
Increased and more effective active defense bao'h
I am unsure of what you mean by adding command line testing to HIPS, increasing the operations center in the windows firewall icon or increased and more effective active defense bao'h, . Could you describe these further? (link to articles, screenshots, etc. is fine).
