International Games Cluster

Join us at this Generator event and find out how Ottawa’s Digital
Media Cluster is ranked globally and against other Canadian cities.
Also, hear from two of Ottawa’s fastest growing digital media
companies and learn from their strategies and experience.

Stuart Jack, Nordicity
DFAIT engaged Nordicity to help create an improved investment case for
the Canadian (CDN) video games development industry. The resulting
analysis shows the global competitiveness of the Canadian games
industry through comparisons of representative Canadian and global
games clusters. In this presentation Stuart will focus on the profile
of Ottawa as an emerging games cluster and will summarize
international comparisons and key investment arguments.

Scott Simpson, President, CEO, and Co-Founder of bitHeads
Scott will share his views bitHeads' recent acquisition of Bedlam
Games and its impact on Ottawa’s Digital Media cluster.

Phil Giroux, Director of Mobile at Lixar
Phil will discuss and share his views and strategies on next
generation mobile applications.
