If I remember rightly with Enterprise & Accountant you get 2 x use licenses per person registered so they could use their license on their machine [backup in case the RDS server goes down] and on the RDS server. Again check that to be sure, but I think you should be good.
Have you ruled out network issues as a cause of the delay? Quickbooks files tend to grow large over time and network issues can make it seem like the software is lagging when working on a network file (but if the computers are older, QB could be the problem too).
The Quickbooks file is over 200MB, and keeps growing. We do clear the logs once in a while, and the network otherwise looks good. There again I was hoping if the client was on the same machine it may be faster.
The other gotcha that used to be there was the qbprint file. There was only the one, so if someone printed and changed the default printer, it would change for everyone. I think they fixed that in '11 or '12 though, so you should be good.

Does anyone have trouble with color? I have Enterprise 12 on a Windows 7 Pro computer, and the user accesses it through remote desktop. Get an error when trying to set colors - says need at least 16-bit color. We have tried 16, 24, and 32-bit color, with the same error message.
